Author's Description

Bozon is a barbarian. But not a very good one. He knows that he can do better but when he starts down the path to improve his station it takes him to places that he never imagined and never intended to go. Bozor discovers a new family and a unique way to succeed in a world that can never know who he really is. Or can they? Find out in this hilarious fantasy that only begins with Bozor. Because just like him, there is always more to the story.

Why I Chose it

It starts out with a barbarian in a bookshop. Bozor has decided to improve himself, and that involves getting this book to learn magic. And yes, the story is a little rough around the edges. (I mean, I'm all for making mistakes, but there's a typo in the title and the main character's name is misspelled once in the description). Still, it has a charm that keeps going through at least the first three episodes.

Unrelated Griping

Everybody gets a pass today, because no artistic or marketing choice could be as stupid as my decision to finish off that box of apple cider donuts.

Update: My new story (published four days ago) still isn't showing up in the "Recently Added Stories" section. I'm out of ideas.
