Author's Description

I was destined to be an evil witch. Everything was on track. I was going to marry my handsome best friend Warwick. Attend Hemlock's Academy For Malevolent Magic after high school, and live Evilly Ever After. Then I hit puberty. Every hex I cast did good instead of evil. Warwick abandoned me. I was bullied. And that was before I accidentally summoned a disgusting lavender colored unicorn named Walter to be my familiar. I'm bad at being bad. Reverse Harem Romantic Comedy Evilly Ever After 1

Why I Chose it

I may have said something about probably never reviewing a reverse harem story when I started this blog (no judgement! It's just not my thing!), but the reversal of the usual in this one made me laugh. And the idea of an embarrassing unicorn familiar is pure gold.

Who Might Like This

Reverse harem with a fun setup -- maybe that's your thing?

Unrelated Griping

I checked out eight stories today before finding the one I reviewed. (That's actually on the low side of my average -- some days I begin to despair.) One story sounded like it was going to be a winner, but it started off with a long description of a dead cat. If you're an author, maybe think twice about that sort of thing because if that's the very first paragraph, you're likely to lose most cat owners and there are a lot of us.
