Author's Description
An elderly woman travels through time to significant points in her life, but things are not the same as she remembers them. Joined by a handsome young stranger and her childhood cat, the fate of both past and future lie in her hands.
Why I Chose it
Stories that aren't firmly grounded in some sort of reality are hard to pull off — nobody wants to listen to someone else talk about their dreams. But while this story has that floating something isn't right here feeling, the narrator is struggling to find the truth and occasionally has glimpses of clarity. A writer who can manage things that skillfully deserves a second look.

Unrelated Griping
I would love to know how they decide which stories go in the "Featured in Kindle Vella" section. Some of them have been there for over a week and I've been waiting for them to bring in something new.
As far as luring readers, Vella's definitely not there yet. I put the erotica novella up in Kindle Unlimited and it's had at least one read per day with no advertising. I think it had three people read it total during the two months it was available in Vella.
